About

I’m a Swiss journalist based in Silicon Valley.

Prior to moving to California, I was a sports editor at the Swiss Sunday Newspaper «NZZ am Sonntag». I wrote about the last great taboo in women’s sports (menstruation), the most tiring opponent on the field (insomnia) or the biggest challenge in professional sports (retirement).

I co-founded the award-winning Sports magazine Nº1 and co-authored a TV-documentary about Swiss ski racer Lara Gut.

In 2020, I was awarded the «Greulich Kulturpreis».

Before becoming a journalist, I earned an MA in Political Science at the University of Zurich.

Also, I was a professional snowboarder for many years. I competed in two Olympic Games (2010 & 2014) and was a Halfpipe Vice World Champion (2011).
